We live out our mission locally by supporting the following mission opportunities:

Loving Our Schools was founded on the idea that Christians should be out in the community beyond the four walls of the church, loving our neighbors as God first loved us. A relatively small investment in children often has the greatest potential for long-term transformation in our communities. Every community challenge is present in our local schools: from hunger to homelessness to poverty, trafficking, bullying, mental health, and more. Join us as we partner with Garrett Elementary School as we make a difference one child at a time.

At Crosslink we have a unique opportunity to serve those who need an encouraging word and food for their stomach. Our Sandwich Ministry does both very well. The first Saturday of each month, beginning at 9 am. This group assembles bags with sandwiches, and other healthy items. They deliver these bags to WestHampton Apartments, and they spend time with the residents that day too. This is a great way to be involved with the Crosslink Mission.

We are so encouraged that God has brought us 52 churches to partner with Love Life in Raleigh this year.
Chapel Hill performs abortions Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They have approximately 25 abortions there each day. These moms and dads need hope and healing.
We know that a Christian presence at an abortion center can dramatically reduce how many women come for an abortion and how many moms choose life.

When the Pandemic hit one of our members chose to look at the opportunities to serve others instead of all the obstacles it caused. Mary Casey had a culinary background and decided to put her skills to good use. So she began Stone Soup Menus, where she began feeding people in need. Through this ministry Stone Soup has since fed 100,000 people and continues to do so weekly. It is a great way to help serve either with the prep of the food, or the delivery of it in Alamance and Orange County. If you are looking for a way to live our mission this may be a great fit for you.
